Gender Pay Gap

SPIKA have always prided ourselves on being an equal opportunities employer. Due to our current size we are not required to calculate or publish our gender paygap but we wanted to put ourselves to the test and see how we measured up. As of February 2019 our gender paygap is negligible at minus 0.76%. It is pleasing to see that gender is not a factor on earning potential at SPIKA!

BOOST

The BOOST project has gone live! This worthwhile new health programme by London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust will run for 5 years and will improve the quality of life for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by reducing the burden of their most common and troublesome chronic symptoms. BOOST is an online, nurse-supported self-management intervention based on cognitive behavioural principles.

Data Security and Protection Toolkit

SPIKA has successfully completed the new NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit assessment.

The Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) has replaced the Information Governance Toolkit (IGT) as NHS Digital’s compliance check for information governance. This toolkit enables organisations to measure and publish their performance against the National Data Guardian's ten data security standards.

Passing this assessment means SPIKA can provide further assurance to our NHS and health clients that we are practising good data security and that personal information is handled correctly and in line with GDPR.

TROOPING THE COLOUR TICKET SALES

We have opened the official ticket sales site for Trooping the Colour (The Queen’s Birthday Parade) again for the second year running.

After the immense success last year and using the insight gained to drive user led enhancements to the digital ticketing system, this year’s ticket sales are expected to exceed last year’s 300% increase in applications.

Replacing a paper-based ticketing and manual payments system has brought the Queen’s Birthday Parade well into the 21st Century and extended the opportunity to fans all over the world to apply and pay for tickets online.

SPIKA launches Compass on behalf of Kings College London - Helping patients navigate their way

Compass is a health platform created to help patients manage their own long term conditions offering them life changing therapy sessions online.

Using the online tool it's possible to offer patients advice, tools for tracking and support on their journey through the programme as well as regular contact with their trained healthcare professional. As part of the Compass launch the platform integrates with IAPTus which is a digital psychological therapy records hub. SPIKA continues to lead the way with time and money saving therapy programmes for the NHS.
